  • Sizes available: standard, large proctoscope size
  • Application:
    • Useful in application of kshara for hemorrhoids as per Dr Pervaje Technique
    • For legation excision of papilla, polyp etc
    • For visualization of anus and rectum
    • Used only after proper anesthesia and anal dilatation only
  • Advantages:
    • Prevents prolapse of rectal mucosa during the stage of anesthesia, in ksharathrapy
    • Avoids spillage of kshara to rectal mucosa

    • Used while changing of Ksharasutra in anal fistula in cases of difficult conditions like where thread is deep inside the tissue.
    • In cases of anal fistula, to see tissue remaining for cutting in ksharasuutra therapy.
